Casa Testa
Given the chance to combine old-world beauty and modern-day perfection, Constructive Solution created the perfect blend with the restoration of Casa Testa, a 100-year old building in the Casco Viejo district of Panama City. The historic building was transformed by Constructive Solution into a mixed-purpose unit, including commercial units, apartments and an incredible penthouse.
Commercial Spaces
Utilizing a creative design and really transform the owners objectives into reality, Constructive Solution was able to transform the ground floor of Casa Testa into two very special and individual commercial spaces providing an excellent source of income for the owners of the units:
The bigger “Local #1” has a modern open office concept and thus had to fulfill several criteria during the development in order to fulfill its purpose. It was supposed to meet both: privacy for the individual companies and also an open form and accessibility, while providing the highest standards of computer and surveillance techniques. The result is outstanding and very unique: a perfect blend of the old and the new. The fact that Constructive Solution chose to rent space there too, shows how convinced we are of the result.
The second unit “Local #2” has just opened its doors to the public, as the newest culinary attraction in Casco Viejo: Super Gourmet Casco Viejo.
Apartments #1-3
Above that on the first level, the design allowed for 3 apartments, creating yet another revenue stream for the owners and beautiful homes for the future tenants. Once more the objective to achieve was a blend of state of the art construction, top of the line finishes and the original colonial look of the building. Again the result demonstrates the ability of Constructive Solution to just do that.
Penthouse (Apartment #4)
As the crowning achievement, Constructive Solution topped off the project with an exquisite penthouse, making this building a truly amazing renovation. Especially here Constructive Solution could show off its capability to react fast to changes and satisfy individual wishes of future owners. Within weeks we managed to turn the original 2 apartment design into a single penthouse although the construction had already reached a critical phase. Apart from that the roof terrace was turned into a terrace with pool and bar. All this took place having in mind the costs for the client.
At Casa Testa, Constructive Solution did more than just build new walls; this was a true construction management project. Construction management is an important facet of construction. This is the art of using modern management techniques to direct and coordinate both the materials and the work efforts of a project to meet the predetermined goals of scope, cost, time, quality and client satisfaction. The goal of construction management is forward thinking, not only in technical details but financial ones as well. Constructive Solution is dedicated to providing this type of expertise not only for Casa Testa but for every project.
Boquete
Constructive Solution is managing several projects in the area of Boquete/Chiriquí.
Most of them are residential housing projects for private clients.
In Boquete most future homeowners are building their second home for after retirement and therefore are semi-absent or absent clients during the planning and construction phase. As mentioned in other sections before Constructive Solution provides a service that is tailor made for them.
